Last week I was feeling great! This week, not so much. Oh how things can change.

Despite the cacophony of negativity coming from our “news” and social media, I’m optimistic about the future. I have lived long enough to know things turn around and get better, especially if you retain a positive outlook.

I need to find a way to get more sunlight onto my skin and ocean air into my lungs. It’s way better than sitting at home wondering where my next form of income will be and when it will arrive.

Looking up at a mountain is infinitely more pleasing than hearing multiple reports of doom and gloom from the CDC, WHO, De Blasio, Cuomo and that other guy in the White House.

I’m going to watch and observe this historical moment and say to my grandkids, “Yeah, I remember March of 2020.” I’m still doing my best to be good to people even though the more I read, the less likely I can live up to that motto.

I only wish my longtime plan of living near mountains and the pacific had been implemented a few years back. Life would be a little more pleasant.

Until then, I’m staying positive.
