When you come to see this show, expect to hear a few members of the audience reacting out loud to the actors on stage. You might hear a, “SANG girl” here or there. You’ll probably hear a, “Go on now” or a “That’s right!! from the balcony too. 

It’s just the way folks are when they hear soulful singing and experience the emotional rollercoaster of Ain’t Too Proud – The Life And Times Of The Temptations here at The Imperial Theater. 

We are hearing a whole lot of that from the audience tonight. It brings a smile to my face when I hear it. No, it’s not out of line or wrong. At least not for THIS show. That polite musical theater stuff can be heard and seen over at Phantom Of The Opera. This ain’t that.
