Treasures in the Trash from HELLER films on Vimeo.
My son says he wants to drive trains for a living. I say go for it little man! If he gets a job with the MTA right out of high school, there’s no need for us to waste money on colleges I can’t stand, he can make a decent living after about 5 years, he will have great health benefits and a pension in the long run. He’ll also have a job that isn’t getting downsized and he won’t start out with student loan debt.
The job may not be glamorous, but it will be a decent living.
I saw this video and found it interesting. This man finds all kinds of treasures in other’s trash and seems to have a museum of his own after all of these years. It’s very interesting.
This man made a good living as a city employee and provided for his family doing some really difficult work. We need more hardworking people like him in this world, and not a bunch of entitled college grads who feel that they are oppressed after spending $200,000 on a sad university indoctrination.
