Sometimes when I am just relaxing after work, I browse the streaming services I subscribe to to find documentaries and movies I want to watch. HBO has such great content, so I chose that one a few nights ago. I heard a little about this series a few months ago but never got a chance to watch.

‘The Shop” an unscripted series co-produced by LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Carter. The show features professional athletes, comedians, TV hosts, music professionals and other celebrities who are sitting in a barber shop discussing all kinds of issues. It’s the black barbershop experience brought to your living room. Topics range from politics, pop culture, world events, the music business, mental health, and what it’s like being a professional athlete in today’s world.

I like the fact that they are generally open and honest. It’s refreshing…and often hilarious!
