I just watched this. What a story. It was so interesting.

While there may have been a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and hearings in the 90’s in South Africa, there is still deep seeded resentment, pain and mistrust.

It’s hard to let the pain of segregation go in a matter of months, especially when the wounds are so deep.

Well, when a white man is seeking justice for a black man in South Africa so his family can receive  just compensation for money they are rightfully owed, that apprehension and mistrust can resurface.

Then on top of all that, when there is mismanagement of the process of getting the funds they are owed, it can be disheartening.

I would much rather have a steady stream of income over my lifetime and pass that money to my family than take any lump sum. Just sayin…

Check this story out. I though about it after watching The Lion King today and hearing The Lion Sleeps Tonight. I knew there was a crazy story behind the song.

Wow.
