I NEVER liked this place. The musicians that play here are top notch but the people who run this place are way too damn aggressive. They’ve always been that way…ever since they opened.

I understand the profit motive but I can’t stand the pushiness.

I pay my dumb ass $5 cover, then I’m guided to the bar or asked if I want a table. No, I want to see the band!

After 2 minutes of standing near the bar, I get asked again. Then again. I’m once again, standing by the bar when the third server asks me the same question the other two.

I block them out and sew Chelton Grey killing’ it with his group “The Kennedy Administration.” They are so damn good. We catch up, and I leave.

You are going to pay me to go there again. Like hundreds of dollars just to step in the door.
