I knew a few things about Jackie Robinson, but apparently not as much as I should have. This man is an American legend, hero and inspiration.

I often explain to my kids the hell people like him had to endure in the past. People like Jackie Robinson paved the way for us. The road ahead is much smoother because of his sacrifices. There will be roadblocks, speed bumps and potholes, but there is  nothing stopping us from achieving the “American Dream.”

He’s moved way up on my list of people I truly admire. Check out this documentary:
