I did a recording session for a colleague of mind that I’ve known for quite some time in NJ today. It was a lot of fun being creative again. So much of the stuff I have been doing recently requires a lot less creativity and more of the skill of being a team player and/or following conductors.

I LOVE the recording studio. I feel so alive when I’m in a session. I also love being part of the creative process and working with other creative types to come up with a great recording.

It certainly helps when you have a great sounding kit to work out new ideas.
