This was my second musical and the second cast album I was fortunate to be a part of. I had no idea how big this show was going to be and how long it would eventually run. It played 2,032 regular performances, making it the ninth longest-running Off-Broadway musical of all time. New World Stages was my second home for quite some time. I stayed with the show for four years before I left to work on Memphis – The Musical, but it ran at New World Stages for almost 5.
I wasn’t playing “drums” on this album, but used Roland V-Drums to lay down these tracks. I got pretty comfortable with V-Drums since I had to use them onstage 8 shows a week at the theater. They are the best electronic drums out there.

I have so many memories with this cast/crew and band. My favorite song? La Vida Eternal!
