The cast of Ain’t Too Proud are such cool and caring people. After the show last Saturday, several of them came to say hello to my ailing mom. 

She is not doing too well and her health is fading  but the warmth and generosity of my colleagues brightened up her day.

The director, choreographer, associate choreographer, several cast members…all came by to say hello. 

My good friend Quinn also stopped by after the show too. 

By the way, I rarely see my father smiling so brightly! Maybe it’s because he’s standing next to the star of the show, Derrick Baskin (Otis Williams). Next to Derrick is Jeremy Pope (Eddie Kendricks), then my beautiful mother,  Quinn, me and my sister, who saw the show for her second time- once in Berkeley, and now on Broadway. 

I can’t say enough good things about this show and cast.
