I’ve been saying this since January of 2021. Most of my thoughts are relayed on phone conversations since putting certain ideas on social media is almost illegal today.
But look, I should have written my plan down to bring this city back anyway, but I didn’t. My campaign and timeline to bring the city back was infinitely better than the rubbish I’m seeing. It’s weak, uninspiring and what elected leaders are doing here in NYC is making things worse.
Plus, I won’t do a thing like this without getting some of those trillions of federal “stimulus” dollars trickling down into my piggy bank first.
I must say, any plan on bringing NYC back will first include off-loading the political leaders of the city and state to an island where they are not allowed to be seen nor heard from again. That’s step one.
Until that happens, we will see a long and winding road back to prosperity.
I wish all of you well.
As Broadway claws its way back from an 18-month COVID shutdown, it could use a snappy new television commercial that captures the excitement of live theater. Currently, New York City is sinking $30 million into something called “NYC Reawakens,” which sounds like a slogan for Sleepy’s. So far, the results are a mixed bag.
