One of the great things about my job is being able to help others. Whether it is having other drummers become substitutes for me when I cannot make a show or need to take off, or having drummers who are new to the business come in to watch what I do for a living.
I connected with Jeremey a while ago and finally had the opportunity to invite him to Ain’t Too Proud a few days ago. He’s a great young man who’s in his third year of high school in Long Island. He really wants to do what I do for a living one day.
I hope I can inspire people like him to follow his passion because…playing musicals is the best job in NYC for a musician, in my opinion. At least in 2019 it is.
Look out for Jeremey in the future. He’s a great drummer!
