October 19, 2009 – Nine years ago. That was opening night of Memphis The Musical. So far, it was the best work experience of my life.

The producers of Memphis certainly set the tone. Sue and Randy from Junkyard Dog Productions are truly nice people. They produced an amazing show with an incredibly talented cast, brilliant  musicians and stellar crew.

I’m still close to many of the people I worked with. I certainly hope the show I’m on now winds up being just as great as this show was. So far, it’s looking like Ain’t Too Proud is pretty special as well.

I loved that job. LOVED it. Every day was a joy. I could have played in that show for 10 years and never would have gotten tired. I have such great memories. I can’t say enough about that group of people…and that show.
