Kanye West. What a talented, determined and confident person. At least he was at the beginning. I still think he’s talented, but from what I know and heard, the death of his mother was the beginning of the spiraling out of control that hasn’t stopped

People can create great art, music, TV, film, be notable leaders, rebuild cities, write books that change the culture, and still have demons that inflict harm to themselves or others around them. It’s all part of the human condition.

I just watched part one of this documentary. Riveting.

And yeah, I love hip hop. Well, I used to. The stuff made today isn’t for me, but rap music is some of the most brilliant music ever created, and Kanye’s contribution to its history can’t be denied. His production was stellar, and his first album is a classic.

I am really looking forward to the rest of this documentary.
