In February this year I was in South Africa. I saw a weather forecast on a TV in a restaurant. The weather person basically said, “Look, ummmm, it’s HOT…okaaay?!”

Today, I saw the news here in Canada and saw this dude bacially saying, “Ya…it’s cold!”

The news up here is really interesting. Lots of stories about things that almost happened, close calls on the highways, social media flubs and photobombs. No hourly mass shootings, no local police killings of hero security guards who are saving people, no mail bombings…nope.

On the national news, they talk about some American horror stories but they find a way to display how much they HATE President Trump. It’s actually hilarious to see how much they make fun of that dude. 

Bryn Johnson and I were actually laughing out loud at Lisa LaFlamme from CTV news. She is the nightly newscaster and seems to have an attitude when she tells a story. She also doesn’t care about her bias and dismissive tone when it comes to stories about Trimp. It’s fun to watch.

Like most news all over the world, it’s entertainment, but Lisa is becoming a fun thing to watch during the late night newscast. She is not hiding her disdain for him.

I can’t wait to live somewhere where it’s mild all the time. I’d like a weather forecast that lasts 30 seconds. 

“Once again 72 degrees and sunny!” “Tonight, a chilly 62. Bundle up kids.”
