I’m gonna miss playing B.B. Kings and Lucille’s. It was such a nice venue. I played with some amazing musicians whenever I was there and always was treated nicely. I hear it’s moving and not just shutting down, at least I hope that is the case.
This night I was playing the blues with Solomon Hicks, Michael Hill and the fearless leader, Jerry Dugger on bass. The band was called the Harlem Blues Project and I’d be calked to play with them from time to time. These gentlemen are blues KINGS in NYC. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with them at Lucille’s.
