It’s crazy to see how good she was at this time. She was at the peak of her career in 1972.

Lots of my friends told me to see this film, and I’m finally watching it now. I always wait until moves get released to streaming services, so I’m a little late with this.

Aretha Franklin…truly one of the greatest singers of all time. Wow.

I need to listen to this album all the way through now. My father had a copy of LP of Amazing Grace just like most black families did back in the early 70’s, but I never picked it up an put in on our turntable. I’ll certainly be spinning it on my phone for the next few weeks!

Check out this movie. It’s a great document of the times and a reminder of how incredible Aretha was.
